On Monday 5th October L’Oréal presented their latest look at the Waterfront in Chelmsford where stylists from all over Essex attended to see the rock and folk inspired creations. Where the straighteners have been replaced with crimpers, and the glossing spray has been outshone by hairspray.

Billy Moore from Central Hairdressing Academy recently got together with some other leading Essex hair salons for a photoshoot at the Big Yin Salon in Rayleigh. James Mitchell, graduate stylist at JAVA for Hair, Chelmsford found the day really inspiring. He said: "When I first arrived I was a bit apprehensive because I wasn't sure what to expect. But everyone I spoke to really put me at ease. It was great to be able to pick the brains of people who are at the top of their game and I learnt so much during the day. It has inspired me to really push myself as much as I can." Big thanks to Nick Mitchell for photography and Adam Sloan for use of his salon.
