Charmaine Piché is a freelance colour technician based in central London, where she runs private colour courses and teaching in Russia and Europe, travelling there regularly. Charmaine started her career at Vidal Sassoon, where she trained as a technician and working in the London salons. Following teaching for Sassoon in the London academy, she then became head of department of the prestigious Beverly Hills Salon in Los Angeles, managing a busy schedule attending to the rich and famous. After 15 years with Vidal Sassoon, Charmaine moved back to the UK and opened Saco. As Creative Colour Director she was focussed on developing new ideas and growing the business, whilst travelling to shows across the world and producing step by step dvds and developing new collections.

Essex hairdressing icon Steve Turner has worked on a number of television shows over the years, including the UK’s This Morning, The Hairdresser 1 and 2, Celebrity Scissor Hands, and this year featured in the hit American series Split Ends.In recent years, Steve has become more focused on training at all levels: he has written a complete Hairdressing Training Diploma which follows the British National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ). I Started my career within the exciting hairdressing industry in 1984 with L’Oreal professional as a trainee salesman & was promoted within 3 months to territory manager, I moved into a senior Sales management role with Redken covering the UK for 15 years and worked with some of the most innovative and talented hairdressers in the industry.
My ambition was always to work in my own company and I joined forces Lee Stafford as Business partner / Director in 2001, won numerous awards and part of two successful TV programs  that helped to launch Lee’s own international brand.
